1. Master of Science in Cyber Security (MSCS)

  • Duration: 2 years (12-week terms divided into 4 per year)

The Master of Science in Cyber Security (MSCS) degree program helps busy working professionals to assume cybersecurity and information assurance leadership roles in private enterprises and public agencies. The course introduces graduates to various challenges, including computer security management, IT security threat assessment, incident response, organizational management and behavior, and leadership. Undergoing ECCU’s Master’s program enables students to build core industry-demanded skills — practical cybersecurity strategies, organizational behavior, soft skills, research, and writing. It offers specialization for five major roles:

  • Security Analyst
  • Cloud Security Architect
  • Digital Forensics
  • Incident Management & Business Continuity, and
  • Executive Leadership in Information Assurance.

2. Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security (BSCS)

  • Duration: 2 years of Completion Program
  • Mode: Online with flexible learning
  • Number of Courses: 20 (60 credit hours)
  • Term Begins On: October 4, 2021

The Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security program enables students to acquire the hands-on experience needed to build a secure cybersecurity career. The 100% online degree covers a wide range of topics, including cybersecurity management, incident response, and security threat assessment, maintaining a perfect blend of business management and applied practical studies. The degree course empowers students with leadership skills to take over managerial and executive positions in the industry conveniently. It includes up to 7 industry-leading certifications, such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Network Defender (CND), and many more.

3. Graduate Certificate Programs (With Courses from the MSCS Curriculum)

  • Duration: 3 to 9 months
  • Mode: Online with flexible learning
  • Term Begins On: October 4, 2021

The Graduate Certificate Program was born out of EC-Council University’s MSCS degree course, incorporating necessary skills for cybersecurity professionals to become managers, directors, and CIOs. Students will build specialized skills, go through extensive technical training in various IT security areas, understand organizational structure and behavior, and gain the ability to analyze and navigate through the organizational hierarchy successfully. ECCU offers 6 Graduate Certificate Programs:

  • Information Security Professional

Each certificate targets skills specific to particular roles in the IT security framework. The certificates can be taken individually or as multiples of up to five –– each helping participants gain domain knowledge from IT practitioner skill levels to IT executive skill levels.

EC-Council University Accreditations

EC-Council University is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC), which is a non-profit government agency and is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as an accrediting agency. The DEAC is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). CHEA is an association of nearly 3,000 degree-granting institutions and universities and recognizes 60 institutional and programmatic accrediting organizations.

The National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) accredits EC-Council University. SARA is a voluntary agreement among its member states and U.S. territories to promote post-secondary distance education courses and programs.
