Or MBA in Real Estate and Development is designed for those who would like to improve their practical skills related to the real estate market in the whole process starting birth and pinpoint opportunities through project preparation, appraisal, financing, implementation, marketing to property management. Lecturer in the field of experienced professionals.
Teaching is about 13 weekends throughout the year. During the year, students work on their theses. The closest study begins in mid-February 2017 and ending in February of 2018. Students can apply until the end of January. When you request a later arrival, please contact us.
Lesson
In what language you want to study?
The first option is completely in Czech, English or Russian. The second option is a combined form, which means recitation in English, but the background material and the final dissertation in English. Students retain more attention during lessons in their native language while they open the possibility of getting a second MBA degree from a foreign university (please contact us for more information) - so. double degree program.

Research methodology (writing thesis and analysis in Excel)
This course has been designed to provide you with information to enable write a good research project, as well as improve your knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
This course consists of two parts: The first part is devoted to program Microsoft Word, which is devoted to the final thesis and its formatting, work with quotes and so on. The lecturer will walk you through various styles, working with links and other details of Microsoft Word, so you will be able to repeat the essential formatting features. For various analyzes all use Microsoft Excel. For this reason, the theme of Saturday afternoons and Sundays to cover all topics, from basic skills, such as absolute and relative references, through more advanced formulas, like VLOOKUP, INDEX, LOOKUP, MATCH, GETPIVOTDATA, SUBTOTAL, SUMIFS, IFERROR, etc., advanced features such as different ways of working with external data (cSV, TSV, html, tables, php, databases (OLAP, OLTP, data import, interpretation - "Raw" data, pivot tables, pivot chart, PowerPivot) and Power BI) ... and much more. Even if you work with Excel on a daily basis at the advanced level, it is very likely that you will learn something new!
Accounting and Taxes (from a tax advisor)
This course is an introduction to the fundamental concepts and basic standards of financial accounting systems. Several important concepts will be studied in detail, including: revenue recognition, inventory, fixed assets and the present value of liabilities. The course emphasizes the creation of basic financial accounting statements - the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow - as well as their interpretation that every manager should be able to handle without problems. In this course we will focus on how to recognize who you need and how to find such employees.
Human Resource Management (Human Resources - HR) is the area of processes in an organization that deals with the management and development of human resources. It therefore includes all management methods and analytical techniques used in the field of human resources management and work with people in the organization. The aim of this course is to develop an understanding of the basic properties of HR in each organization and main functions of HR. The study topics includes examples of organizational behavior personality / features, emotions and influence, motivation, concept and social identity, decision-making and knowledge, fairness and trust, organization and affection for work, leadership, groups and teams, organizational culture and climate. Topics examples of human resources include job analysis, recruitment, selection, training and development, performance appraisal, compensation, quality of working life, diversity of the workforce and strategic human resource management. In addition to this, students will gain useful information related to time management to help them deal with stress, time constraints and self-organization.
Right
The law is a common and significant aspect of everyday life in modern societies. This course examines the central features of law as a social institution and as a feature of popular culture. We will examine the nature of law as a set of social systems, central actors in the system, legal considerations and the relation of legal form and reasoning to social change. We will focus on the Czech Republic and show it in a European context. The course emphasizes the relationship between business partners, including negotiation skills, as well as the most important pieces of legislation which is reflected in trade agreements, including the consequences of their failure.
Banking
The aim of this course is to develop an understanding of the definition of banks, banking history, types of banks and banking products and banking activities and models, the role of banks in the economy and the challenges in the banking sector. In addition, students will understand the difference between banking for retail customers (retail) and business banking; i.e. retail and retail banking as the visible face of banking for the general public and corporate banking, which works with corporate customers. Both approaches will be discussed on the basis of products, services and implications for the prospects of the economy. Project financing and real estate financing
This course will provide insight into the importance and usefulness of financial statements of financial ratios. The course aims to work with the key factors influencing the planning process and work with what you should keep in mind when developing business plans for financing. The course also provides an overview of the potential investor, a trader can understand the reasoning of the counterparty. You will learn to identify and assess financial risks arising from the business. Theory should be coupled with common sense in business. The course is directly focused on projects in the real estate market.

Real Estate valuation
The aim of this course is the understanding of economic relationships that affect the value of the real estate market. Students will gain knowledge of the concepts, tools and techniques for the valuation of various real estate assets within a particular economic and municipal environments. Upon completion of this course, students will have a broad knowledge of market dynamics influenced by the geographic, legal and material parameters determine the value of specific real estate assets on the market and understand the fundamentals and the effects of the real estate management.
After completing this course, students will be able to: I

Construction and architecture
The aim of this course is to provide an introduction to the architecture, its fundamentals and terminology. Furthermore, the course summarizes introductory overview of the various materials used in construction.
After completing this course, students will be able to:
- Define the concept of architecture and master basic terminology
- Define basic architectural styles (Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, industrial architecture, neoclassicism, Art Nouveau, etc.)
- Compare properties of materials (physical, structural, ...) for the most commonly used and some selected special building materials
- Define the typical and possible applications of building materials
- Define the relationship between material properties and structural form
- Identify major problem areas of production and application of building materials
Realty Management (Facility Management)
The aim of the course is to gain a comprehensive knowledge of facility management as a tool for effective management of the property value. The course will be the following topics:
- Facility Management (FM) as a tool for effective management and increase the value of assets;
- Basic differences between the facility management property management, asset management, and the links between them as they lose terminology FM;
- Advantages and disadvantages of internal and external FM - when it is better to choose FM services provided externally and when they decide to "in-house" solution, what are the typical costs for external FM;
- Strategic planning in the FM - correct setting process and its optimization;
- Tendered services within the FM according to the type of property and by services - preparation of tender on what to look for, how to organize a tender to select the best operator at a fair price;
- Terms ensure FM - what to look for when entering into FM contract, new legislation;
- Disciplines FM - technical property management and maintenance technology, cleaning services and waste management, asset protection, maintenance of greenery, winter maintenance, support services - what to watch out when contracted various services, where conclude provision of these services individually when the "packages" ;
- Economic property management, optimization of occupancy, rents, leases;
- Managing energy and media, energy prices tendered, when it is best to inquire;
- Management, monitoring and evaluation and optimization of FM services and costs;
- Budget planning and operating costs of real estate investments;
- Information systems to support FM - how to implement and configure individual system components to streamline support FM services;
Final work
Students must write and submit a final thesis. Supervisor him with that will advise and assist. Work will be about 50 pages long (generally recommended length, depending on content). Focus A student will choose based on their professional interests with regard to further career development in the context of the themes MBA studies. Appropriate supervisor selects a separate study CBU after a discussion with the student. The final work may take various forms: the structure close to the modern thesis, creating a business plan, case studies, or reports or a combination of the options. The Capstone Project
Candidates are required to submit a capstone project on an approved topic long about 50 pages. The thesis should offer an original application of knowledge in the area of management and should demonstrate the candidate’s ability to integrate rigorous academic analysis with practical real-world relevance and application within topics covered by this course.
Possible forms
The chosen subject should be viewed in light of future career plans. Students have been offered positions as a direct result of their MBA Capstone project. The Capstone project can take many forms:
- a research-based thesis (a dissertation with 20,000 words following our diploma thesis template),
- business plan,
- case study or
- indeed a combination of elements of these.
A tip for you
A very popular option amongst students is to work with an organization on a project that will add value to its business. The output is a substantial report combining the student’s experience and MBA knowledge to provide research, analysis, and recommendations. The supervisor works with students to facilitate engagement.

Because the European Institute of Applied Science and Management is a private research institute rather than a public university, we do not have access to financing that would allow us to offer full scholarships to even the most deserving individuals. While the European Institute of Applied Science and Management does not provide full scholarships, it does provide partial scholarships.
