Introduction
The course of study in Institutional and Corporate Communication aims to provide a basic multidisciplinary preparation aimed at understanding, analyzing and using the tools of modern communication in all its dimensions: advertising, marketing, corporate communication, ecommerce. The training proposal is designed in particular to encourage the development of skills related to communication functions within companies and institutions.
Official nature of the information
This training is not included in the scope of regulated official training (early education, primary education, secondary education, official professional vocational training, baccalaureate, university diploma, official university master's degree and doctorate).
Curriculum
The course of study is structured over three years: the first year is characterized by the presence of sociological, computer science and semiotic disciplines, supported by methodological and economic-organisational teachings; the second year strengthens the sociological, organizational and methodological contents, introducing the juridical sphere; the third year includes philosophical, political science and semiotic subjects, with marked attention to the languages of communication. The student has the possibility to take some exams of his choice. Training and orientation internships are foreseen.
Program Outcome
At the end of the course of study the student will have acquired:
- Basic skills on communication and on the interpretation of communicative processes from a socio-anthropological, historical-philosophical and sociological point of view.
- Ability to deal with the legal, organizational and economic innovations determined by the development and diffusion of communication phenomena.
- Methodological skills for evaluating and intervening on communication processes, through IT and mass media disciplines.
- Linguistic skills for the analysis, management and production of texts, in particular taking care of the ability to effectively use the Italian language, also in the institutional and advertising fields.
- Mastery of two foreign languages (English and Spanish) for the exchange of written and oral information in the sectors of specific competence.
What does it prepare you for?
In these professional sectors, graduates will be able to act competently in public relations, advertising and promotional activities, in the management of public relations offices, in press offices, in editorial offices, in company organization and management of digital and multimedia communication processes.
