The Quantic Team
From our business content experts to our programmers and engineers, to our executive leadership team — we’ve put together a team of pioneers. We’re the same core team that drove Rosetta Stone from its startup roots to the largest, most innovative language learning company in the world.
The mission of Quantic School of Business and Technology is to offer the most innovative, highest-quality, online education programs that are directly connected to positive career outcomes in business and technology.
Quantic seeks to reinvent graduate education for the 21st century, serving as a template for a new kind of school: leveraging pedagogical and technological innovation and a keen understanding of the power of professional networks to deliver best-in-class learning experiences and career outcomes for our students.
Quantic began with three questions: what if you could learn any subject, anywhere, on any device? What if that learning system was connected to a powerful professional network? And what if a new business model could make it radically affordable, or even free?
From this initial vision, our founders set out to build a new kind of graduate school.
The team began by inventing a ground-breaking instructional method, then applying it in the creation of our state-of-the-art curriculum. After proving its speed and efficacy compared to traditional programs, the team developed a unique business model which shifts the cost of education to a curated group of employers seeking to hire students through our integrated talent platform. And finally, through a rigorous admissions process and employer vetting, the team created the basis for a valuable, exclusive network of alumni and corporate partners.
Today, Quantic is proud to offer a Free MBA and an affordable Executive MBA to ambitious students from around the world.
It’s an exciting road ahead. We hope you’ll be part of the journey.
Active Learning. Redefining the future of education.
No boring lecture videos. No tedious textbooks. Just delightful interactive instruction designed to make learning dramatically easier and faster.
With decades of experience in educational technology, as well as a pedagogical conviction in experiential learning, Smartly has reinvented adult education with interactive, mobile-first learning we call "Active Learning."
Gone are the passive approaches of video-based talking heads and long-winded prose. Instead, Smartly lessons constantly challenge learners, requiring interactions every eight seconds. As every 5-10 minute lesson builds on prior lessons, students test their understanding while confronting new course material in a mastery-based progression of learning that ensures student advancement.
Don’t Teach and Test...
For too long, online education has systematized the least effective practices of classroom instruction, broadcasting information, then testing for student comprehension. Online education incumbents have stuck with this passive paradigm, despite poor engagement and efficacy.
...Test to Teach!
With Active Learning, our courseware immediately challenges the student to think as the protagonist. We’re not a lecturer, but rather a mentor and tutor, providing activities where students engage, making decisions with immediate feedback. We test not to confirm comprehension but rather as an opportunity to teach.
