Introduction
The Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) program responds to the market demand for professionals who have acquired an expertise in Business Organization and Management and have developed a global perspective. This Master program focuses on business theory and management practice, helping students perfect their expertise and readying them for careers at the strategic decision-making level. For any student that wishes to give an international edge to their studies and gain access to a wider market, Madrid's Universidad a Distancia offers the opportunity to achieve virtual mobility through the agreement it has established with the Università Degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi (USGM). The purpose of this virtual mobility agreement that is available for one of the modules of the MBA, is that it tries to guarantee a personal and professional enrichment by broadening your curricular and professional options and teaching you distinct methodology, new technological skills through the ICT and allowing you to learn in new environments. In addition, other noticeable benefits would be the ability to access and exchange knowledge and experiences with teachers and students of different nationalities, the ability to immerse yourself in the university's language, culture and traditions as well as saving you money by not actually moving to the host university. Furthermore, the agreement established between both universities proposes an academic exchange programme based on recognition of the credits gained in the foreign university. The recognition will be established based on the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits that the student gains at the foreign university and what their equivalent is at the original university. The academic recognition and validation of the studies will be undertaken based on the terms agreed between the universities. The courses at USGM will be carried out in English which means that students will require a suitable level of that language in order to gain the most out of the courses. Students will be able to ask for the official qualification from each corresponding university upon completion of the courses under the mobility programme.
