About DIPLOMA University
The DIPLOMA University is a privately run, state recognized university of applied sciences located in the picturesque medieval city of Bad Sooden-Allendorf in North Hesse. The notation Bad identifies the city as a recognized spa destination with a long tradition in medical wellness and health treatment. Besides the main campus, there are notable campus extensions in more than 25 cities in Germany and one in Italy. The DIPLOMA university offers on-campus, sandwich course, extra-occupational, blended learning, and online study programmes on undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate levels. The DIPLOMA University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1994 and is part of the Bernd-Blindow-Group, a company which has been very successful in the German market of higher education with school brands like Humana Schools, Dr. Rohrbach Schools, and Ross Schools since more than 40 years. The DIPLOMA University, which started in 1998 with a study programme in economics, is managed by the former founding dean, and first and nowadays president Prof. Hans F. W. Hübner One year after his inauguration he expanded the university’s programme with a department of business law. In 2003 a department of social studies & health management and in 2009 a department of design were established. Consequently following the conditions regarding the Bologna-Declaration of 1999 the DIPLOMA University of Applied Sciences nowadays offers state accredited study programmes in e. g.
