The Fundació Universitat de Girona: Innovació i Formació (FUdGIF) is the institution created by the Universitat de Girona (UdG) to promote scientific research and teaching in all areas of the University of Girona, and be at the service of the society of which is part.
Its main purpose is to promote the progress of society and contribute to the training and development of citizens, as well as promoting the transfer of knowledge between the University of Girona and the business world. To carry out this purpose, the Foundation manages the activities of the UdG in its own studies of continuous training and cultural and scientific dissemination.
Since its creation in 1997, the Fundació Universitat de Girona: Innovació i Formació has promoted and managed an extensive offer of UdG programs. More than 40,000 professionals have completed some of their masters, postgraduate degrees or diplomas in the different fields of knowledge that they propose.
The Fundació Universitat de Girona: Innovació i Formació is also the holder of the Postgraduate Studies Center, its own center attached to the University of Girona that teaches university masters, own masters, postgraduate diplomas and postgraduate courses according to the regulations approved by the UdG.
