Introduction

Who we are

College of the North Atlantic – Qatar (CNA-Q) was created to meet the ambitious and visionary goals of the Qatar National Vision (QNV) 2030. CNA-Q is a partnership between the State of Qatar and College of the North Atlantic in Canada.

We officially opened in September 2002. CNA-Q fills the State’s need for graduates who have hands-on training in their field of study. As the third-largest post-secondary institution in Qatar, CNA-Q now has more than 3,545 full-time students in the Academic Year 2019-2020 and has graduated 6,473 students.

CNA-Q is recognized as a Center for Excellence in technical and vocational education in the State of Qatar. We offer interactive academic and co-curricular programming to more than 3,545 full-time students enrolled in over 30 programs in the areas of Engineering Technology and Industrial Trades, Health Sciences, Business Management and Information Technology, Academic Education and Foundation Program. In addition, hundreds of students enrol annually in a range of continuing and professional education.

A proud partnership between the State of Qatar and College of the North Atlantic in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, CNA-Q offers an unparalleled educational experience to students from more than 20 countries. In addition to diploma programs in Business Management and Information Technology, Engineering Technology and Health Sciences , CNA-Q offers a full-range of student activities and clubs.

Since 2002, CNA-Q has graduated more than 6,473 students to enter the workforce locally and contribute to Qatar’s National Vision 2030.
